The Jan. 20 story came from Real Raw News, a website with a history of publishing false, fantastical stories. This time, it drew from a false QAnon cornerstone belief that powerful elites are killing children to harvest the chemical compound adrenochrome. According to the story, Putin struck back.
"Putin destroys adrenochrome lab in Ukraine," the story’s headline says. The post goes on to claim that Russian special forces "raided and destroyed an ‘Adrenochrome farm’" in Ukraine, "where sinister forces tortured abducted Russian children to harvest fluid from their adrenal glands."
The post cites an anonymous "Mar-a-Lago source" who claims that Putin told former U.S. President Donald Trump that the operation had led to the rescue of "50 young kids from the ghastly laboratory."
QAnon promotes a number of conspiracy theories that invoke pedophilia and a Democratic cabal. QAnon adherents were present during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. These ideas also infiltrated political discourse as recently as the 2022 midterm elections.

QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory that has gained traction in recent years, particularly among followers of President Donald Trump. The movement claims to have uncovered an alleged “deep state” plot against the president and his supporters, involving high-level government officials and Hollywood elites. The origins of QAnon can be traced back to October 2017 when an anonymous user known as "Q" began posting cryptic messages on 4chan's politics board /pol/. These posts contained predictions about upcoming events related to the Trump administration as well as coded clues about supposed deep state conspiracies. As time went on other users started deciphering these clues which led them down rabbit holes filled with rumors and speculation surrounding various political scandals like Pizzagate or Hillary Clinton's emails being hacked by foreign governments.
Since then QAnon has grown into a global phenomenon with millions of people following its teachings online through websites like 8kun (formerly known as 8chan). It also inspired real world protests around the world including rallies in Washington Dc where participants held signs reading “Where We Go One We Go All” - one of qanon’s most popular slogans - or wore t-shirts featuring images from qanon memes such us frogs wearing trump hats . Additionally some politicians have expressed support for this movement either directly or indirectly , something which raises concerns amongst experts who fear it could lead to further radicalization within certain sectors of society .
Despite all this attention however there still remains no concrete evidence proving any part if not allof what qanon claims is true . In fact many critics point out how much their theories lack any sort factual basis while others suggest they may simply be used by those behind it manipulate public opinion for personal gain .. Ultimately only time will tell whether qanons predictions come true but until then we should remain vigilant against believing everything we hear without doing our own research first.
